Although Alana has called Florida home for the last 15 years, she was born and raised in the musical melting pot of London. Immersed in the city's vibrant music scene, she honed her craft by performing in local clubs and soaking up the rich musical heritage of Europe. Inspired by legends such as Anita Baker, Nora Jones, Esperanza Spalding and Gloria Estefan, Alana developed a deep appreciation for the art of jazz/R&B/afro-Latin music and its ability to convey raw emotion and storytelling.
